Mar 26, 2019 I#39;d like to install drivers for my xbox 360 wireless controller reciever. I have seen tutorials on youtube showing how to do this from the device manager. However, when I go to manually install the driver from a list of available drivers on my machine, there is no option for #39;xbox 360 peripherals#39. Windows 10 recognizes the controller, installs the current drivers for it, charges it up, yet it wont actually control anything. I#39;ve tried several games known to support 360 controllers in Windows. I#39;ve done standard troubleshooting - remove driver, reinstall driver, roll back to older drivers, reboots between everything.
